How to Play
SnakeSol is a real-time multiplayer snake game. You start small. Eat glowing orbs to grow. Eliminate other players by making them crash into your body. Last snake standing wins.
Eat to Grow
Consume glowing food orbs scattered across the arena. The more you eat, the longer and thicker your snake becomes.
Kill to Dominate
When a snake dies, it explodes into high-value food. Rush the remains to absorb massive points before others get there.
Boost to Strike
Hold click or tap with two fingers to sprint. Boosting drains your tail but lets you cut off enemies. Use it wisely.
Survive the Zone
The red boundary shrinks over time. Stay inside. Any snake that touches the edge is instantly eliminated.

Desktop
Mouse to steer. Left click (hold) to boost. Your snake follows the cursor direction.
Mobile
Drag anywhere to steer, or use the virtual joystick. Tap the rocket button or use two fingers to boost.
Game Modes
● Battle Royale (Solo)
You vs 49 AI bots. No wallet needed. The arena shrinks, bots fight each other and hunt you. Survive until you're the last snake alive. Perfect for practice and casual play.
● Multiplayer (Online)
Real players. Real competition. Connect your Solana wallet to enter. Up to 50 players per room (humans replace bots as they join). Same shrinking arena, but every opponent has a brain. Leaderboard scores update in real time.
● Tournament Mode (Coming Soon)
High-stakes competitive matches. Pay a $SNAKE entry fee, winner takes the entire pot. Scheduled events with countdown timers. Details below.
Strategy Guide
Knowing the mechanics is one thing. Winning consistently is another. Here's what separates the top players.
- The Coil Trap — Circle a smaller snake completely with your body. They have nowhere to go and eventually crash into you. Works best when you're 2-3x their size.
- Boost Cut-Off — Sprint in front of a larger snake's path. They can't stop or turn fast enough and slam into your body. High risk, high reward. This is how small snakes kill giants.
- Death Drop Farming — When someone dies, their body explodes into premium food. Rush the remains immediately. The AI bots also swarm death drops, so get there first or bait them into crashing while they rush.
- Edge Riding — Hug the shrinking red zone boundary. Most players avoid the edges, so there's usually unclaimed food there. Just don't get caught when the zone contracts.
- Boost Management — Your boost bar recharges slowly. Never drain it fully. Keep 30% reserve for emergency escapes. A snake with no boost is a dead snake.
- Late Game Patience — When only 5-10 snakes remain, the arena is tiny. Stop chasing. Let others fight. The last two always crash into each other. Be the third snake watching.
- Name Psychology — Players with intimidating names or high visible scores get avoided. Players with troll names get targeted. Choose accordingly.
Wallet Connection
Multiplayer mode requires a Solana wallet. This verifies your identity on-chain and enables tournament entry and future $SNAKE rewards.

Built into the Brave browser. No extension needed if you already use Brave.
How It Works
Select Multiplayer — Toggle the mode to "Multiplayer" on the main menu. The Play button changes to "Connect Wallet".
Choose Wallet — A popup shows available wallets. Detected wallets are marked green. Click one to proceed.
Sign In — Your wallet asks you to sign a message: "Sign in to SnakeSol". This proves you own the wallet. No transaction, no fees, no tokens leave your wallet.
Play — Once signed, the button becomes "Play Now". You're in. Your wallet address is linked to your session for leaderboard tracking.
Tournaments (Coming Soon)
Scheduled competitive matches where players stake $SNAKE tokens for a shot at the entire prize pool. No bots. No practice rounds. Pure PvP.
How Tournaments Work
Entry Fee — Each tournament has a fixed $SNAKE buy-in (e.g. 1,000 $SNAKE). The fee is sent to the tournament smart contract on entry.
Lobby — Players queue in a waiting room until the minimum player count is reached or the countdown timer expires. You can see who's in.
Match — Standard Battle Royale rules. Shrinking zone. No respawns. Last snake alive wins. Matches typically last 3-5 minutes.
Payout — Winner takes all. The full prize pool (minus a small protocol fee) is sent directly to the winner's wallet via the smart contract. No manual claims, no delays.

Low buy-in (500 $SNAKE). 10 players. Fast rounds. High frequency. Perfect for grinding small wins.
Diamond Lobby
Mid buy-in (5,000 $SNAKE). 25 players. Bigger pot, tougher competition. Scheduled events every few hours.

High buy-in (25,000 $SNAKE). 50 players. Massive prize pool. Weekly flagship event. The endgame.

Private rooms with custom buy-ins. Create a room, share the link, set the stakes. Challenge your CT mutuals directly.

Do I need a wallet to play?
No. Battle Royale (solo) mode is completely free and requires no wallet. You only need a wallet for Multiplayer and Tournaments.
Does signing cost gas?
No. Signing a message is off-chain. It's a cryptographic proof, not a transaction. Zero fees, zero SOL needed.
Can I play on mobile?
Yes. The game is fully responsive with touch controls and a virtual joystick. Use Phantom's in-app browser for the best mobile experience.
How many players per match?
Up to 50 per room. In multiplayer, real players replace AI bots as they join. When you're alone, it's you + 49 bots.
When are tournaments launching?

Where can I buy $SNAKE?
$SNAKE will be tradeable on Raydium and Jupiter once the CA is live. It's a standard SPL token — any Solana DEX will work.
